The Awards celebrate Australia’s outstanding financial and legal advisories, and their most impressive achievements within the year. The honors are awarded based on Mergermarket’s league table data, along with input from a panel of industry experts and analytics professionals.
Morgan Stanley was named M&A Financial Advisor of the Year and TMT M&A Financial Advisor of the Year. Taking home Mid-Market M&A Financial Advisor of the Year was Azure Capital. Rothschild & Co won Energy, Mining & Utilities M&A Financial Advisor of the Year, while Jefferies won Pharmaceuticals, Medical and Biotech M&A Financial Adviser of the Year.
When it came to outstanding M&A deals, Blackstone was awarded Private Equity Deal of the Year for the Crown acquisition, while the Energy, Mining & Utilities M&A Deal of the Year went to Woodside for their acquisition of BHP Petroleum International.
